ive timed it a few times where my casting completed just after the pet died.
its not easy, and it doesnt always work (fizzles are fun too). generally
i go the safer route and pick and choose my enemies (i solo a lot), and if
you kill all that mana on a pet you may be S.O.L., especially if you have
dark pact going when you have to go hand to hand =)
