You're forgetting a few for this list.
 
Your eagerness to hit level 70 is directly proportional to the amount of time it takes to get there.
 
Your chance to hit level 70 will invariably be impeded at the least most convenient time; i.e.  your internet service gets shut off, your computer crashes, your account gets hacked and you get banned from EverQuest until you can get it sorted out.
 
That mob you've been camping for 5 hours will be interrupted by the servers going down for 10 hours for a patch, only to find someone else has gotten there before you when the servers come back up.  (e.g. Hadden for the fishbone Earring  -  I've had this happen to me)
 
 
 
You know you've played EQ too long when you're out in a boat and don't even notice the bobbing motion cause you're so used to Spirit of Eagle cast on you.
