a mage carrying a weapon?, what a strange thing. you would be better getting a stien of Moggock (+10INT) and either some kind of book or other held +int/Mana item and of course your focus items, which all do about 6dmg if you really really must melee. better to let your pet melee or get a meat shield cos u won't last long in fist fight anyway since mages have next to no AC/HP
