You would be surprised. Why would someone put a virus on another person's
computer to destroy all data or ruin things for them? Why would someone rape
an infant? Bc some people are just sick twisted creepozoids. They get their
jollies from screwing with other people and making them miserable.
I know someone who thinks it's funny for EQ players to get screwed. EQ
players are often regarded as degenerate losers by some hackers.
Why is Verant so paranoid? Why do they suspect everyone of trying to swindle
them? Bc there are creeps who will do it. That's why.
