But it sure doesn't help for the tank that who just got buffed by you, your
cleric, and your shaman when he gets charmed or rooted. How long would it
take to cast cancel magic 9 times?

Of course, once you got rid of all his buffs he'd most likely be dead meat
anyway...

I just had a revelation though. Given that magic works the same for mobs as
it does for us, if cancel magic cancelled in a LIFO order like I had been
wanting it to, you'd run the risk of cancelling the DoTs and what-not that
your party has cast on the mob. Still, I think I'd rather worry about that
than having to cancel all of someone's buffs just to unroot them.
