Try it and see. You have to use a monster of aproximately your level
because lower level ones will remove you from their hate list just
because of the level difference (See Brad McQuaid's response to
concerns about trains).
Hit the monster, then mesmerize it. Get out of frenzy range and wait
to see if it comes after you after it wears off. Then you'll know your
answer. I have gotten pounded by a few after mes wears off, so I don't
think it does wipe the list. Please post the result of your
experiment.
