I'm not positive but I think I observed this once accidentally on a Gnoll.
I'll try it tonight if I can get people to leave it alone long enough for
Mes to wear off <grin>.

The rat may not have a long duration on the hate list. It's possible
that different monsters have differing memory lengths. have you tried
this same experiment on a higher level mob?
