Yes he is in the East Freeport. Go out via the gate then go right
till you
reach the city wall. Go up approx 100 feet. They should be 1 or 2
tree
near the city wall. Stay there and you will see him comes around.

Yeah, that was good of him. I think there is a warning message if
you try
to buff, but still.

Oops, since I play on zek, where everyone is PK I didn't clarify.
nPK
players can't loot fallen pk. But since on zek everyone is PK the
fact that
npk can't loot you is irrelwevant. there aren't any npk to loot or
not loot
you.

Yes, easier to code in the first place. But, what I am saying is
that the
code for selectively choosing what spells work is ALREADY there.
You are
npk. You cast heal on someone. it works. you cast ice strike on
someone.
it doesn't work. See, the code is already in there, they just
aren't
applying the rules to PK for some reason.

Yep, they are probably getting sick of feedback from me by now. I
am really
enjoying the game, and I think the game is fundamentally great, but
bugs
that have been known about for this long that have such a
potentially HUGE
gameplay effect should be gone by now. Nice talking to you.

I agree. PK's should not be able to cast ANY spells on nonPKs. The
reason is.. if you've got a friend who is a PK.. and you are dueling a
non-PK person... the PK person could heal you.. because he isn't afraid of
turning PK.. he already is one. Yet the other person would get no heals.
Not fair. The PK switch is there to seperate the different societies. PK's
have their server that they can play on. There is no reason to try to blend
with nonPK's..

Seek out towns of races which can create wizards. (ie High Elf,
Human,
Gnome, Eudian, Dark Elf etc.) They all will have wizards guilds.
going to
Kelethin (Wood Elf) or Kaladim (Dwarves) will not do any good
because they
cant become wizards.

Oh hehe, I thought he didn't think they sold them in Freeport. Not
all
other towns have wizard guilds.. Rivervale I believe does not. Only
towns
which are home to races that can be wizards would have them.

Ak'anon has quite a selection of spells. Class specific spells can
be
found in the outside edge rooms, and common spells are sold by the
merchants in the center. Warning: Elves are sometimes killed by a
merchant
when they zone into the city.

Subject: LVL10
Hi,
I play a High Elf Wizard. He is currently 10th lvl. The first 9
levels went
very quickly. I was one of the first Wizards in my area and on my
servers to
get to 9th. Now I am finding it very difficult to get past lvl 10. I
seem to
die every time I am on whether grouped or solo. I almost never can
get my
gate spell off in time to get out of trouble. I do not want to
resort to
Kill Stealing (this is very easy for a wizard)
Does anyone have advice on how to advance faster. And combinations
of spells
to use when solo or in a group. I know there are not many options
but I am
hoping I have missed something and someone can help.
I mostly adventure right now with a friend (11th level ranger) in
Crushbone.
He seems to be sucking up most of the experience.(even when we were
at the
same level. The rest of the time I either solo or group (30% each)

Havil,
High Elf Wizard of the 10th Circle
Servant of Mithaniel Marr

Of course a non PK could cast on someone while they are dueling as
well,
making your argument pretty much meaningless.

The
reason is.. if you've got a friend who is a PK.. and you are
dueling a
non-PK person... the PK person could heal you.. because he isn't
afraid of
turning PK.. he already is one. Yet the other person would get no
heals.
Not fair. The PK switch is there to seperate the different
societies. PK's
have their server that they can play on. There is no reason to try
to blend
with nonPK's..
