Incorrect. Wizard's DD spells are the best at any given level.

Totally FALSE! All spells are resisted when they are cast on creatures
that are more than 5 levels higher than you. Enchanter's and Magician's
too. And cleric's and shaman's too.

You can cause damage to mobs that are not more than 5 levels higher than
you, it's very simple. As far as colors - 4 levels above your should be
red. So you CAN fight Reds. And don't forget that the melee classes will
miss so much and be hit so hard that it is not very profitable for them
to go against high reds as well.

No offense, but maybe you're just not that good. Yes, there is the
chance that you make wrong choices or get stuck in bad groups. As I
said, a bubble an hour is possible. And the Karanas are a really bad
place for a level 12-16 alone. Especially wizard.

Your anecdotal case is not viable as an argument as to the Wizard's
capabilities.
