Stick to 2-handed blunts. Your next magic weapon will be a Runed Totem Staff
from Rex in Paw. It is a 2-handed weapon that has a damage rating of 9(for
19 max damage per swing) gives +5 mana and +5 health. It can also hit
magical creatures.

I've been using a 2-handed staff since I got lucky killing
Flippy the gnoll.
Haven't gone back.
Honestly, if I HAVE to go into combat, I wanna do dmg. It's
usually landing
that killing blow
while the stupid thing is running away. Do more damage and
you'll run a lot
less.
