i would put ward undead right up there with the pet spell. it does 36
damage to undead at lvl 8. personally, if you want to travel, i would get
gather darkness soon too. i would wait until L9 to get dark pact, but it is
a definite must have. why would i wait? you get more hp at L9, so it is
not as dangerous to use the spell.
