Things are a
lot different than when I started my Erudite necro. You now have Paineel
which should help a lot. Also, they fixed the zone link to get to the
sewers in Qeynos. You will probably find that there isn't much hunting on
Odus after 5th level. They did revise Kerra Ridge, but I think they made
it higher level and it still has the same pathing problems it had
before.
Unless they
changed any of these factions, you will be:
Amiable in
Paineel
Apprehensive
in The Overthere, Neriak, Freeport
Dubious in
Erudin
KoS in
Qeynos, Halas, Surefall, High Hold, Rivervale, Kelethin, Felwithe, Cabilis,
Firiona Vie
I screwed up
my faction with Kaladim, Ak'Anon, Grobb and Oggok long before I found out what
the starting levels were. I think you are dubious in Kaladim.
Dubious with merchants in Ak'Anon, Grobb and Oggok, but KoS with the
guards. You will be KoS with the Ghouls in front of the Necro guild in
Neriak. You will be KoS with some inhabitants of the Hog Callers Inn in
West Freeport and some people in the slum part of East Freeport. You
will be welcome under Freeport and Qeynos.
My
suggestion if you go with an Erudite is to move to Freeport when you start to
run out of things to kill on Odus. You are mostly safe in Freeport and
will have access to much better hunting grounds. Freeport, Paineel, and
Neriak are the only cities you will really feel comfortable
in.
I don't know
how much AGI is used so i don't know if that is a good idea or not. I
doubt you will need it at higher levels since you wont want to get into melee
range. Just remember, the higher your INT, the less INT items you need to
make 200. That means that you can have other items that will raise other
attributes like Mana.

Hello all, I'm making a
newbie necro on regular sever (E'ci) and I need
some advice. I had a
DE necro up to 5, but then i noticed everyone is a DE,
so I quit him. I'm
thinking of making a erudite now, but then the iksar had
to come along.
Anyone tried an iksar as a necro? How are they? Well, if I
dont go with an
iksar and make a erudite I would probably take my 30 points
and bring 70
agi up to 80 agi and 117 int up to 137 int. Is this smart? I
plan to twink
him, so he will probably have 190+ int from the start unless i
opt for mana
jewelry. Also, if I made him a erudite where would i be liked
and disliked?
Thanks very much for your time, and any other tips would
be
appreciated.
