I think some of the monks, if I am not mistaken, you have seen complaining
were not even in their 20s from what I saw in their emails. Monks and Rogues
are amazing for dealing damage at the higher levels. Where both classes
begin to blossom unfortunately most people stop playing these character
types before they even get there. What are monks good for. Well lets take a
look at this whole pulling thing. To be able to Feign Death pull is a huge
asset not only to a group but to solo fighting. Walking into a room of 5
mobs and pulling out one is an amazing trick. On top of that. I myself spent
levels 30 to where I am now at 47 with only a cleric at my side. Yes I did
group with others but most of my hunting would be just myself and him.
Damage wise. Lets take a look at this. Shooting out 4 attacks every 3 secs
potentially hitting for 50 each time lets average at 35 plus a high kick in
the 90s. Those 4 attacks every 3 secs or just over 2 if you have the black
sash from Lower Guk giving you HASTE. What does this mean. 140 points of
damage every 2 to 3 secs plus a kick every 8 or so putting potential damage
for a 9 sec interval at somewhere between 400 and 600. To me that is pretty
impressive! You can heal yourself every 6 minutes. Making clerics love you
knowing that they don't have to heal you at the first sight of damage.

Please any other Higher level Monks respond to this so the younger guys can
know that it does get better and that we are not as impaired as they think
we are.
