I suggest that u wait for a chance to buy patchwork armor. Players make
such stuff. They give as much protection as leather but weights heavier
(no big deal. since u're a warrior). Or u can try picking up tailoring
and make ur own armor. PW armors are usually sold in the range of gp, eg
3 gp for PW tunic. Leather is 2pp plus. Cheap eh?
