Directplay?!? I just know it uses TCP and UDP connections hehe, the patch
server is a regular HTTP server on port 7000... Haven't checked what is uses
in upper levels though...

Hello everyone...

I'm not sure if many people would know this for sure, but I am wondering
what everquest uses for internet communication. Is it using directplay, or
just Winsock API calls?

I'm wondering this because I am interested in learning networking
programming for games, and am just curious as to what other games are
using.....

Thanks,
Michael Rhodes
