Well I had my first experience with the beta.  I created a dru9id but then I used the /betabuff command.  Of course I chose /betabuff druid 70.  I've neve rbeen a level 70 before.  Boy was I shocked.  Full Time Gear!  200 AA points and 4 100% weight reduction bags!  I'm so sickened now that my maind oesn't have all that!  And every spell up to level 70.  Unbelievable.

So went to Darkhollow.  there are several zones you can go to once you get there, but just the first zone the greenies aggro like mad.  I nuked one for over 2k and it barely took it down to half health.  NASTY!!!

I died, needless to say.

So we'll see what happens.

I'm such an idiot!!  Talk about boneheaded mistakes.  I figured out why the beta wasn't working.

My dumb self ran the beta patcher from within the zip file folder.  It was tryign to download files into a folder that's non-existant.  So they were being stored in memory and when memory filled up, the game would crash.

Once I unzipped the actual files and put them in a non-archived folder, the patcher ran fine, although now it has to redownload everything.

Okay so now that I admit I'm not perfect, I'll let you know what the beta is like once I play it.

Well I'd love to tell ya if I could ever get into the damn thing!  It's till not working for me!
From the small bit I did see, they've added 2 new tabs to the Inventory window.  One says Evolving Weapons, and the other one says Monster Alts.  The latest patch message I saw said that the monster alts was not working yet.  And some NPCs whose character models are not in zone yet are replaced by the standard human model.  They call this model "Doug".
