In addition to what everyone else has said, should also mention that they
come in quite handy after you die. Namely because rez effects can
sometimes keep you from moving so you have no choice but to sit and med and
wait for the rez effects to wear off. But if you're not in a safe area,
that's sometimes hard to do. A horse or drog will allow you to move while
you still have rez effects. This has come in handy for me in the past.
Plus sitting sojmetimes causes aggro, and being on a drog or horse is less
likely to do so.
And as you get in upper levels and money is a bit easier to come byh you
don't mind spending the 100k plat on the faster mounts. I've already
upgraded to the 30k mount on my main druid and its as fast as sow is.
Hrses and drogs are the same speed wise and cost wise so the choice of
which is personal prefrence.

They look fun to ride on, but i don't think they are worth it because
on my friend's account he has a cheap drog and then i found out the
cheap ones are slow =P lol. Are the horses the same? All the things
the cheap ones do is make you look rich.
