There are 6 different runes that I'm aware of:
Level 66 - Minor Muramite Rune
Level 67 - Lesser Muramite Rune
Level 68 - Muramite Rune
Level 69 - Greater Muramite Rune
Level 70 - Glowing Muramite Rune
Level 70 - Ancient

Each type of rune will only get you that level's spells, and in a specific order. So if you turn in one rune, you are guaranteed of getting X spell. Nice in a way, takes the randomness out of the process, but it is ugly in another way since one spell I really want at level 67 is the 6th rune-turnin.

Good place to check out (may take a subscription, I can't remember) but it lists the spell progression:

NPC in Dranik's Scar is called Karsor the Mad. If you face the wall as you zone into Dranik's head right and you'll see him by a tree

We're largely in the same boat, but what I do know is that there are 3 types of runes that drop. Minor Muramite runes, Lesser Muramite Runes, and Greater Muramite Runes. Minor runes are for levels 66-67, lesser are for 67-68, and greater are for 69-70. There is an NPC in Draniks Scar you turn the runes into in order to get the spells. The name escapes me but it's an Iksar NPC off to the west of the POD zone in in Dranik's. Hope that helps.

Can anyone tell me of a website where I can find an explanation of
the runes, and places they drop for the OOW spells? I haven't been
able to find an in depth explanation. I can find the new spell
lists, but not how to acquire them for my cleric. I'm not able to
play as much as I'd like and I'm having severe angst wanting to
level to 70 and get all my spells! Help! LOL
