I would say at level 7 your need for plat is not as reat as it will be at later levels.  Prior to level 10 you dont lose xp when you die so dont even worry about rezzes.  Just loot everything you can and sell it to vendors.  It starts to build up after awhile.  Keep it in the bank.  Don't buy anything you don't really need except for food/water.  At 14 you'll gain the ability to summon food and water.  And eventually you get the spells Abundant Food/Water which summons 5 at a time.  These are no rent items but at the cost of very little mana, you can save yourself some money.  Your ability to make plat will come at 29 when you get a 35% XP rez, at 34 you get a 50% xp rez, and so on.  People will donate plat for rezzes.  All you have to do is get there.  Plat wills tart dropping off mobs around level 18.  Go to Lake of Ill Omen or Paludal Caverns at that point.  The plat wills tart to build up.

This is an age old question, how does one earn plat.  If you can withstand the tediousness, do tradeskills. They always help. Another thing to do is have a driuid or enchanter alt.  One that can port or administer Clarity.  Use them as your money makers.  Or set up a bazaar trader and sell interesting loot you get.  It's really not that hard.

But like I said, I really wqouldnt even worry about it until post level 10.
