As far as I know, there is no way to check
faction. I've asked this same question before. Even gone so far as
to send/feedback about it in game that there needs to be some way of
checking. You just kind of learn as you go along I guess. Needless
to say, as an Iksar your faction probably will suck in most places outside of
Kunark, and even some places INSIDE Kunark since the Iksars and the Sarnaks
are against each other. And if you ever want to get into Freeport you
gotta kill more orcs than you'd ever care to. Most of the
time, if there's a quest you want to do, you can find it on Casters Realm or
Allakhazam's and they'll give you a faction fixing guide in order to do
the quest.

can I tell what faction somebody is? I see a guard and he does

I am an Iksar Swiftail Monk (yeah, question 2 comes up a
lot) and I
just completed a quest. It told me my faction with the
Swiftails
increased. Is that any good for anything? They
already think of me
amiably, can it get any better?
Are there
ever faction changes you are not told about? When I kill
some
creatures there is no message about a faction change, is it
possible one
happened anyway?
