Personally, I love monks, and love to have a well played one in my group. Some of my closest friends are monks, and they play their role very well and are an asset to any group they are in… Including their ability to pull and melee. Some of the things in the last patch were designed to make them a more powerful class. However, I do seem to have had some problems with bards. Only met a couple that could play their class and be a benefit to the group they were in. If you don’t think that you can be a benefit as a certain class, then maybe you should look into creating a different character. But remember, all classes have their limitations, and it is how you handle those limitations that makes the character an asset.

Ummmmmm, ok if you say
so. I'm still paying my
subscription so I am "dealing with it"
obviously. My
problem is not a small one. Bards have a
role, monks
do not. We can't tank. We can't
harmony. We can't
do melee damage like a Rogue or a Warrior.
We are too
stupid for trade skills (although that's what I
spend
most of my game time doing since groups only pick
up
monks as one of the "extra one or two".
The idea of a monk class does rock, I agree, but
since
they took pulling away from us, and they took
tanking
away from us, all we can do is lay down and play
dead
and hope for a charitable group to pick us up once
in
a while.
That's a thing.
