Sitting in plane of tactics when fighting a Gindan flayer split (this is a
normal exp mob, nothing special) and you will get 2 mobs doubling 800 on
your ass. So thats 3200 first round. If you survive this and dont get low hp
aggro and manage to get healed the attention is now on the healer who will
be quite pissed at you for beeing lame and sitting.

Plane of tactics is nowhere near an uber zone, its just a normal zone to exp
in and a lot of people are able to zone here and exp. Same thing would apply
to most pop zones. You just cant sit to med, its bad for you and the group
to do so.

You are also lvl 40. The rules change drastically when you get to 55+. Try

sitting in ToV during a pull and see how fast you die.
