I'm also running Win ME with 384 megs of ram. It's slowing down now, due to the fact that my processor is just a Celeron 400 and is 3 years old (time for an upgrade) but ME has done fine. I can't remember the last time I got the blue screen of death. I might eventually upgrade to XP Pro (Home edition doesn't play games very well), but ME is doing just fine for me now.

I think it's actually 768 megs for WinME...and don't ever let anyone tell you that ME's not suitable for EQ. My primary EQ box for over 3 years has been a 450 mhz k6-3 box with 256 megs ram, that ran ME. Rock solid, reliable, no compatibility issues...it's great. ME has never given me anything like the problems I've seen others talk about. Only time it ever acted up is when the cpu fan was failing....obviously not the OS's fault.

I have 512 mb ram not 412.  I am using win me not xp or 200 or even 98.  I was told that if I put more than 740 mb ram my sytem will slow down due to windows not being able handle a super amount of ram.  just what I have be told by compouter techs.  well see evryone on Norrath.
