Rofl, the vision was never to provide anything for free, it never has been and never will be. If the day came there wouldn't be any EQ left.
 
But if you feel it's ok to whine cause you don't get shit for fre, (when what you really want to say is that CS sucks, and that it will make you feel all fuzzy, go ahead.
 
As for saying it all went down when stormhammer went live, where were you before stormhammer? Hidden under a rock? CS from VI has and will be horrible. It costs to much to support that many players paying almost nothing / month, doesn't take a genious to figure that one out.

Sure it is....the free stuff stopped when the service started going downhill. All symptoms of the same disease.

That's not what we were discussing though, if you feel that the service you pay for ain't delivered I don't have anything against complaining. If that's the case you should complain. However, people are complaining cause they don't get shit for free, and that's a complete different story which has nothing to do with sucky CS.

Just because I play does not mean there is nothing to complain about. The customer service has gone downhill for a long time now. Try to get a GM....ever since they started this "GM pool" it is almost impossible. The "Vision" is dead and EQ 1 will be going with it before too long.

But they are No drop and that was my point. And I have played since it went live. And yes I will complain about this game. Service has dropped and the price has gone up. It all started with the Stormhammer server and has gone downhill from there.

But as I said...not many pop spells are vendorbought, they are dropspells. And the dropspells are NOT NO DROP.

The new spells for PoK are no drop. You go to a vender in the great library and buy them but they are no drop.

look, spells arent no drop. Get your facts straight.
 
The parchments that drop are no drop. These parchments are turned in to recieve a spell from each guildmaster. So if you want a ranger spell you turn in to ranger guildmaster. You get a random spell, the spell isnt no drop....
 
So dont go around bashing for nothing.

Also consider POP....with all other expansions new spells could be bought and sold/given to those that did not get the expansion but in POP bought spells are No drop.

Maybe but I have to disagree for some business
reasoning.  If you look at any company that has
released new versions, they always tailor the SWITCH
from one to antother.  For instance, D&D 2nd edition
had a good following and most said they would stick
with it.  WOTC marketed the 3rd edition in such a way
that most have now switched to that version. 

I would think that at first EQ2 will be promoted with
the hint of EQ being supported but I think once the
bugs are worked out that it will be hard pushed.
Another analogy is Luclin. When it first came out,
most did not ever think of getting it.  I for one had
it, and uninstalled it.  But then BAM I give you the
Bazaar.

Now ask yourself who does not have it. I see more
people without Kunark and Velius than people who don't
have Luclin now.

BUT time will tell, I am sure EQ2 will get a great
following. After all i! ts business and marketing.
