No thanks....the way it looks to me EQ is almost done anyway. I think they are trying to force everyone to EQ2 when it starts. They raise the subscription fee I will just drop it and stick with Earth and Beyond until City of Heroes comes out...:>

Let's hypothetically say EQ comes with the EQIM already on the CD. It's an added option to install. Let's say you decide to install it. Then you're agreeing that rather than $12.95/mo for just EverQuest, you pay $13.95 (or whatever) for EverQuest AND EQIM. If you do not decide to install it then you're just paying the $12.95 as usual. And since foresight tells me this is probably what they will end up doing in the long run, I don't see the difference then having to pay for it now or just having the cost included when you subscribe to EQ let's say 6 months down the road. If you're gonna use, they're gonna get your money one way or another... besides... bandwidth costs... and 400,000+ people playing the game simultaneously AND now EQIM... that's gonna be a lot of traffic. Better start opening your wallets....
