Higher res is only of use when you are in either full screen or full screen
with boxes, all the screens that have borders stay at 640x480 instead of
becoming
larger.
Note that if you are using 1024x768 in full screen with boxes and you hit
"i" to go
into your inventory then it will either switch to 640x480 ( irritating ) or
change to
a 640x480 blot in the middle of the 1024x768 display, depending on whether
you
have the "same resolution" option set in the display preferences.

i have a different kind of resolution problem...when i increase resolution,
it just makes the everquest window smaller on my monitor (with the ensuing
negative border space increasing). anybody have an aswer for this one ?
