"1) but most viruses/wurms/trojans that are famous use email."

Does that matter? If you use a non ms-email software you'll still be able to
spread the virus. Just forward your email and you'll continue to spread the
virus. What does exchange mta got to do with viruses?

And last, this subject may not be about EQ, but if someone sends a virus to
the list it's pretty much a subject we need to discuss.

1) but most viruses/wurms/trojans that are famous use email.

2) the 2nd way is using features of the most used browser.

3) and then there will be the copied stuff (disk/cd/download).

4) and then there a some very special ones.

with using a pure email program and non-ms-exchange MTAs most
viruses (and the others) would not spread so fast.

i never said, don't use anti-virus software, just it would be cheaper
to use a proper email program: an easy and cheap way to prevent
viruses from spreading.

well, this will be my last comment on this subject. this is a forum
about EQ and nothing else.
