It's a social thing. The chars will share a surname, a GM will give a short ceremony (or a player can, with the GM there only for naming), friends are invited, often there is much food and  booze, gifts, generally an in-game party for the wedding itself. Rings are exchanged just like IRL. I've had a married char...it was fun. We RPed it fully, and after a bit when I made a ranger (my char was a warrior, his was a druid) we RPed her as being their daughter.

I recently met a couple of ppl who were getting married in-game, im curious as to what this means, what the implications are game-wise etc.

does anyone know where thier is any information on this part of the roleplaying thing?, i tried a search on google, boy that was a misstake-nothing but ppl whining cos there marriage's broke up:( . anyway if anyone can provide any information at all regarding in-game marriages.
