Trade skills are very useful. In fact they are required in order to do some
of the quests. With more advanced tailoring skills, you can make a 10 slot
10% weight reduction bag that sells for 100pp. It's not profitable at lower
lvls but the higher lvl you get the more profitable it gets (albeit more
expensive). Right now I'm trying to get my tailoring up to do the 5th
coldain shawl quest. I need to have really good tailoring skill to sew the
shawl.
