Just did some research and found out that the Geforce 4 MX is a piece of garbage. Doesn't have DirectX 8.1 functionality that EQ now supports. Im really pissed off now that I wasted a single day that I could have been playing EQ with a Geforce 4 Ti. Im getting up early tomorrow and taking back this piece of garbage. If you dont have a lot of money get a Geforce 3 or the new Geforce 4 Ti4200 which will be $199.

Yeah, if you have the money get the Geforce 4 Ti. After playing with one, I can't imagine playing another day without it. I think the 4 MX is definately just a 2 MX that is bigger and faster. The 4 Ti is something completely different.

I have played with both cards and I thought the Geforce 4 Ti made things look better than the MX. The 4 MX seems to basically be a 2 MX, just faster and more memory. I may take back my MX and get the Ti, the day that I spent with that card was the most enjoyable day I ever spent in EQ.
