I was just looking at some decent ranger 2-hand blunt weapons that drop there, maybe I will convince my group of friends to hunt their in the future. We are going to Permafrost tonight, I am scared to death of losing all my stuff.

If I was just starting another character, I would definitely try to raise my Chardok faction. Chardok has several nice quests you can do once you get ~ 50. To raise Chardok faction, you need to kill Goblins, the Goblins in Temple of Droga seem to give the best faction. There is a series of quests Chardok, kind of like shawl quest or the Dain ring. Can't remember stats of the first item, but item # 2 is a ring called Regal Band of Bathezid 5ac, 2cha, 2wis, 2int, 85hp, 50mana and effect Aegis of Bathezid. Item # 3 is a Spirit Wracked Cord, shoulder item with 12ac, 5sta, 100hp, 10vs cold and 5vs magic. Not that hard of quests, but the faction work is a real time sink, especially if you are make kos in chardok. So, if you are in the proper level ranger, it is best to get the faction and the exp at the same time. Believe me, you will really hate it camping faction with no exp. Makes for a long boring session.
