Agreed....I use WinME on a AMD K6-3 450 with 256 megs ram, and have NO
problem with lag in any normal stuff. Some zones of EQ, yes, but I run XG
Midi emulation all the time with no system lag, and it's one of the biggest
resource hogs around. If you're lagging in Solitaire on a 1.5, something's
seriously wrong...not enough ram maybe.

ROFL, blaming that on Windows ME is ignorant and should probably be blamed
on the configuration of Windows and the applications you have installed, or
maybe a hardware problem. But i bet you 10 bux that it's not a problem with
Windows ME.

I haven't had too much trouble with lag on my Athlon, and I'm only connected
at 21k bc my phone lines are like 20 years old, I'm behind a "slick", and
the phone company won't fix my lines.
My mom, who has a 1.5Ghz pentium lags while playing offline games like
spider solitaire-- because she has windows ME.
