On that note, one way my druid made good money was to go to the bandit camp in north karana. I think I went there about 20th level, but the banditos are green at 17th. Anyway, the banditos frequently drop bronze weapons, worth 3 - 4 pp apiece, and bandit sashes, which you turn in in Qeynos and get in return more bronze weapons. An hour of killing banditos netted me about 50 - 60 pp. Of course, it would not be as easy for anyone not a druid or wizard, as a druid or wizard can bind in Qeynos, port to NK, then gate to sell the weapons.
That's one way I made money, and it was one of the first times I had pp in the bank with my main character. After I got port it was easier, but see? At level 20 I had money for the first time :) You just gotta work at it.

inspecting others but I read about how others have allot of money and was
unsure how they did this. I do not like to twink my characters I think the
fun is in earning what you get not being given to you by others. So I was
just interested in how others made $ in EQ(i.e.. selling things, helping

I'm not in it for an uber character. I play to have fun. I am not
anti-twinkage. My husband has a couple high characters on another account.
So I could twink my enchanter out outrageously. I choose to do it wisely.

If you go around inspecting lower level players, you are going to find A LOT
of people with great gear better than yours. I guess you're in for a sad EQ
life, or atleast until you understand this and get over your sadness or you
obtain some great gear for yourself.
Buy low, sell high and go buy your own uber gear.
