I've never played a rogue but I'll tell you what I know :)
Sneak works when you're moving and if it works (it won't always), mobs won't see you. Hide is only for when you're standing still.
There are traps in dungeons at higher levels. I believe I witnessed one in Najena at lvl 20 or so - went through a wall and fell into a pit (ouch)

I have a brand spankin' new rogue and I have some questions. I would

1) How does "sneak" work exactly? Can I sneak across someone's line of

having ever seen or heard of a trap in EQ. Can anyone give an example of
where and when this ability would come in handy? And how do I know that
there is a trap around to disarm in the first place?
