I was 8th level when I trained in Freeport and was able to use 25 points
without paying and then I paid less then 5gp to train an additional 5
points for a total of 30. Now I just leveled to 9th last night and plan
on going to Freeport to see if I can train another 5 points in
Jewelcraft. I'll let the list know what happens.
In UO some NPC's could train you higher then others. Maybe the same
applies here in EQ? I have a high INT as well, maybe that effects
things?

oh I got a message at 21 that I had to learn further advances. What
level are you?
If you can buy points DO IT. It is sooo cheap. Even at 1 plat per
point that's less than a failure with medium gems. It cost me 1s3c to
go from 20 to 21.

the last 5, but it was minimal.
I trained in Freeport and I'm a High Elf.

you wont be able to put all of those points in . at a point ( think it
maybe 20) it says you must learn advanced trades skills in the field =
go out and do it , so i would suggest spending the max you can because
it will save you plat in trying .
