Hello! I am new to the list, but have an answer for you from the
enchanters web forum.
Strength doesn't neccessarily raise the MAX amount of damage you can do.
Instead it raises the average amount of damage you do over time, so
enfeeblement does help, and if you add up the damage done by your ogre
vs the damage done by your elf over time, you will see the ogre does a
lot more damage on average.
