you get them for trading Gnoll teeth in Qeynos to a guard who really
hates gnolls. Some people don't know you can then take those moonstones
and trade them at the Pub at the docks for a short ale per moonstone.
Good for alchohol resistance and they sell for a decent amount (compared
to the moonstone).
