based attacks are important.  At other times I use the insidious rod with a<br/>
crude stein.  I was able to get the rod myself with the hardest part coming<br/>
 from upper guk (priest I think).  I patiently waited for a chance to loot<br/>
the golden rod.<br/>

you&#39;ll want to go for +cha and +int items with +cha being more important I<br/>
think; but it really depends on the situation.  I have a savants cap, green<br/>
silken drape, and incandescent gloves (which are a very easy quest).  Next<br/>
I&#39;d like to quest for the incandescent mask but the rune in mistmoore will<br/>
be a bit of a pain I think.<br/>

I would buy gold or plat int or cha jewelry when you can collect the cash.<br/>

Staff of writhing is ONLY good if you&#39;re killing very light greens (like<br/>
skeletons too dumb to leave you alone).  It&#39;s got good dmg/delay, and the<br/>
proc (at L29) is nice, but -9 CHA is very painful. <br/>

If you have some L25+ friends to group with, you can probably get a rod of<br/>
insidious glamor (+12 CHA) or incandescent wand (procs color shift) from<br/>
Sultin in Solusek Ro.<br/>

Of course, for many enhanter situations, the 2-stein plan (crude and<br/>
moggok) is better than an actual weapon.<br/>
