Level 52 Shaman here.

I've noticed a couple of things.

SoW speed varies with level, going up in speed from 9-50 (documented fact,
see EQ Casters for percentages).
Running Speed is hampered when your overweight. Overwieght also reduces your
agility.
Running Speed is *slightly* affected by the client side speed. If you stick
two people in a race, one on a high end machine, and one on a low end
machine that lags (is choppy, like a 233) due to machine speed (not 'net
latency), the faster machine will be slightly faster running.

I've done no testing at the 100 agility mark. It would be interesting to
test though. In the manual, which is nearly 95% inaccurate, it says agility
determines how fast you can run, yes. Heh....uh huh.....

I don't think that is true sir. I have a human monk with 138 agility, and
he never carries more than 14 pounds, but he cannot run noticeably faster
than anyone else.
