It'll break mez. I'm used to playing a necro, so not having pet control
is frustrating. It seems likely (and from what I've seen of higher-level
enchanters) that you simply stop casting your animation spell in a lot of
group situations - charm one as needed. When soloing or in a duo or trio,
you maybe can instruct your tanks to assist your pet.
