It's a fairly useless spell that replaces another fairly useless spell.
You can use it to find North.
Compare with Sense Direction (The spell is much more reliable at lower
levels) and a compass (costs 2 plat).
At low levels it is probably worth having but by level 12 or so your Sense
Direction skill is likely high enough you wont bother with this.
Early on however when your totally turned around in a big zone (especially
in the rain or night) this could be very handy.
So once in awhile it will be useful for a low level character.
