High level enchanters are complaining :) It doesnt affect us as much as
lower level enchanters though.
Animations have an attack delay of 30. The lowest that can be reduced to
(using swift) is about 18. Lower level speed buffs wont get close to that.
Now consider giving your animation just 1 or 2 rusty daggers and no spells
reduced its attack delay to 24. A 2 plat basic dagger reduced it down to 20.
I guess that a pet with basic dagger plus swift would be down to about 12
delay.
So the difference is a high level pet did have a delay of 12 but now has 18,
thats a *big* difference over the course of a fight. For lower levels it is
worse since they cannot reduce that 30 delay by as much.
Remember, this change wasn't directed at us but at balancing mages and
necros, and necros are being compensated (although I somehow doubt it will
be enough). We were forgotten about and just got hit in the crossfire.
No-one ever bitched about enchanter pets being too strong because relatively
they were and are the weakest ones.
