The ONLY place to buy the level 8 and higher pet spells, as far as I
know, is in high hold. But a good combination of invisibility and
Illusion: Human works wonders there. :)

And make sure your Divination is maxed, otherwise invis tends to run out
at the most inopportune times.... I tend to cast invis before it has a
chance to run out, just to be safe. :)
