Subject: kialo nuts
has anyone recently had a problem acquiring kiola nuts from sister island?
i went to sister island last night and i couldn't get any of the sisters to
sale to me.
tried all 3 buildings and they just conned (indifferent as a half-elf) and
that's it...
they would not open a merchant trade screen for some reason.
also, has anyone found any kialo nuts anywhere else?
the quest does mention that some are found in the karanas or qeynos (i can't
remember off hand)
btw, i've done the quest before as an enchanter on another server.

Subject: Mroons Toy
I got a hold of Mroons Toy in a trade. Trouble is that no one knows what it
is worth, not even the guy I got it off of. One of my guildmates wants it
and I am trying to find a fair price. Can anyone here help?
Here are the stats:
2HB 20DMG 70DLY
WAR SHD SHK
large races only.
Thanks
Brian

bank i can sell to you.

Prices depend on local market conditions.
Look around for comparable weapons and sell it at a comparable price.
It is not an awesome item, which is why your having trouble finding a price.

Subject: More on Twinking?
First the safe question:
I am a level 12 enchanter, what gear/items do you think I should have?
Please answer this question as it is the one I am most interested in.
Now the others:
How do you (as in every one of you, all of your opinions count) determine
that a player has twinked? Is it by money? I have had several hundred
plat at level 12. I have spent much time on my jewelry business and it is
booming. Is it rare items? Most players have grouped with those a few
levels above them. What if you grouped with someone MANY levels above you
(say they needed someone with SOW or Invis)? Wouldn't they give you a turn
at looting? Didn't you stand toe to toe with them, fighting, and earn it?
What if you're a chicken and only fight blue/green's, getting little exp and
lots of loot. Take that loot and turn it into better items. If trading
with other players/NPC's was against the intent of Everquest, why did they
develop trade skill and an economy? If trading is OK, why couldn't someone
take months to level and still trade for the upper items (outpacing what
most feel is usual for that level)?

My *personal* opinion. Twinking is defined by a character receiving
money or items (s)he hasn't *earned*. If you can go kill a bunch of
skeletons and sell the bone chips for a hefty amount - so be it. That
character did the "work", that character performed the sale
transaction, that character got the benefits. Having another (usually
higher) character "help" would be twinking.
Just my 2 coppers
