Yes, I have a level 16 shadow knight with darkmail gauntlets and a dark
reaver with platinum jewelry ... thats considered twinked. I spent much time
and investment in my primary level 43 enchanter but I want to enjoy the
other race/classes without the same investment in time, so I twink.

Personally I believe buying anything that your character could not get is
also twinking.

I keep hearing the word: 'twinked'. Can someone tell me what it means?

Twinked refers to a charecter who has been given stuff instead of earning it
themselves. Usually this is another char of the same player.
Purchases and trades don't count as twinking but someone who gives you
something valuable aobve what you ahve earned does.

Twinking is having one of your high level characters gain
equipment/items/money and then transfer it to one of your lower level
characters. One method of doing this is to "drop" the items on the ground,
log out, log in with your other character and "find" them.

Another method is to pay another player to hold the items while you log out
and back in with your other character.

Many regard twinking as cheating as far as "that character" did not earn
those items.
