Sorry to let you know but that's not how mesmerize works. It stuns the
creature and confuses their hate list. I did it on a rabid wolf in the
hills the other day and after it wore off the wolf just walked off
like it never saw me which goes to prove that mesmerize does work
better than lull except the mana cost is higher and so may the chances
of it being resisted. But either way a 30 second stun is much much
better than a 3 second one. Personally I have never even memorized
lull althought I do have it because I am a perfectionist and feel I
have to have all the spells. I most likely won't use soothe either but
I will buy it.
