most of us use the Equilizer site to get item stats.

Cloth, netted, damask, woven, and gossimer are the equipment types to
keep an eye out for.
The important robes are listed too. Note that the best robe for a low
level is the yellow senior apprentice robe from Erudin at a cost of 4P.
I wore one until level 22 when I finally got a flowing black robe.
