Ah, I forgot your level. Yes, area effect songs are a problem
in the "newbie" zones (see my other message about being
careful using Lullaby to help newbies). Once you get into
your 20s, you can pretty much hold your own in zones where
there are no insta-kill guards or merchants, and few or no
wandering insta-kill mobs.
