Well yes and no. I know of a gate to another place, and it's in the newbie
killing zone out of Oggok. Fairly well hidden in a tree. It's guarded by a
34th level enchantress. As well as a pair of high level thugs.
From what I know of the spells to gate to other planes, there's 2 that I
know exist. The plane of Hate ruled by Innoruk, as well as the higher plane
of air ruled by the crystalline dragon Veeshan. Any guesses what the overall
quest in EQ is ? : )
Yes, they're implemented. Do a /who all GM sometime. Last time that I did
this, I saw 2 GMs that were in 'airplane'. So, it's there. I'm pretty sure
that it's maybe 2 or 3 zones each. That's one of the only reasons that I
chose the wizard class. In my mind, it's the most powerful class in the
game. We're also the only class that can solo Giants at high levels. NO
other class can do this. THAT'S power.
