If you have jboots or a zone nearby its an excellent spell for killing
guards. Cast the bonds of force and run---you can get enough distance
between you and the guard to cast again with the guard never touching
you. I also used it on the double dwarves in BB. Would cast bonds of
force from as far away as I could, then root one of them and run run
run. Then you only had to fight one at a time.
